West Coast Swing for adults with some experience.
Before taking this class, you should be very comfortable with:
- Left Side Pass
- Left Side Passing Tuck
- Underarm Pass
- Sugar Push
- Sugar Tuck
- Basket Whip
- Basic Whip
- Starter Step
- It will be helpful if you know basic hand changes (i.e. how to lead a right to right pattern)
Learn these moves in our Beginner West Coast Swing class, or by taking some private lessons with us!
Come enjoy this ever-changing, improv based partner dance style. You'll get to dance to a wide variety of music styles, including pop, R&B, country, blues & more!
No partner necessary. If you are attending with a partner, you will each need an account and need to sign up separately for classes.
Please note that if you sign up for this class as-is and cannot make it to class, you forfeit the class credit, even if you early cancel.
If you would prefer a more flexible payment option, including the opportunity to take classes in other styles or make up a class, purchase one of our punchcards or memberships, and then come back to this class on the schedule to save your spot :) (p.s. our memberships also include other perks like guest passes & free entry to our practice labs!)
